MERU “The Complete Wilderness”
Meru Marvelous, remote, rugged and prominently unspoilt, Meru sits intact in a wilderness less visited, yet surrounded by undiluted natural beauty. It is wild and beautiful, straddling the equator and bisected by 13 rivers and numerous mountain-fed streams. The scenery is diverse from woodlands at 3,000ft on the slopes of Nyambene mountain range, northeast of Mt. Kenya to wide-open plains with meandering riverbanks dotted with doum palms.
The park teems with a variety of wildlife species including elephant, Grevy’s zebra, lion, cheetah, leopard, Meru hosts a rhino sanctuary that is home to the endangered black and white rhino species.
Bird life is also exceptionally diverse with over 400 bird species recorded.

Day 1 :

Nairobi to Meru National park,

Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive to north to Meru National Park. We will have a brief stop at the Equator then drive over the shoulders of the Great Mt. Kenya,We arrive Meru National park in time for lunch, After lunch you will have siesta time before proceeding for late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the CAMP/LODGE,

Day 2 :

Explore Meru National Park

A whole day will be spent in the Park on morning and afternoon game drive. Meru wildlife includes large herds of Buffalo, Bushbuck, Duiker, Eland, Elephant, , Genet, Giraffe, Hartebeest, Kudu, Waterbuck and Gravy Zebra.
Also expect to see Baboons, Hyena, Kudu, Lion, Mongoose, Oryx, Oribi, Warthog. You may see Wild dog, Bush baby, Caracal, Cheetah, Civet, Dik-dik, Leopard, Otter, Bush pig, Black and White Rhino.
The rivers are abound with Hippo and Crocodile. Bird life includes Peter's fin foot which inhabits the Murera and Ura Rivers, the Pel's Fishing Owl, Kingfishers, Rollers, Bee-eaters, Starlings and numerous Weavers.
Dinner and overnight at the CAMP/LODGE,

Day 3 :

Meru – Lake Naivasha

Early morning game drive before going back to the campsite for a sumptuous breakfast. After breakfast, break down our camp then pack and drive to lake naivasha, afternoon boat ride/cycling, diner and overnight at the CAMP/LODGE,

MASAI MARA-Discover the best of Masai Mara National Reserve in this adventure. Go deep into the African plains and set out on daily game drives across the park. All the Big Five (the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant & buffalo, ) are here with many mammals and birds.
Watch for the animals that emerge at dusk, see hippos and crocodiles along the banks of the Mara River. The game reserve is home to high population of the big cats & the famous wildebeest migration.
Safari departs daily from Nairobi city. Explore the great Maasai Mara ,

Day 4 :

Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara.

After breakfast ,from naivasha you will join a group joining safari going to masai mara past narok town you will Arrive Mara for lunch, Afternoon game drive at the park. Dinner and overnight at the budget CAMP/LODGE,

Day 05 :

Masai Mara Full day

Full day in the park in search of the Big Five. Meals and overnight at the budget CAMP/LODGE,

Day 06 :

Masai Mara – Nairobi.

After breakfast (Optional visit the Masai Village before you depart Masai Mara, arriving Nairobi late afternoon. 400pm
